2022 Specialty Obedience Trials

The Obedience Trials were a complete success!  Our judges were spectacular and they came with smiles and put our exhibitors at ease. I heard from the exhibitors that they really enjoyed our show and I did not receive any complaints. We had a tip the day before to put a small non-traffic aisle between the two rings. That proved to be a good idea and both our exhibitors and judges appreciated it.

Despite the fact that it was not air-conditioned, the building remained relatively cool which was good for all, especially the dogs.

A big THANK YOU to our volunteers:

Lynn Paraskeva: Lynn took care of anything that needed to be done, including organizing the ribbons, trophies, assisting the judges and the raffle

Carol and Harry Wert: seamlessly helped our judge and stewarded all afternoon for the second trial

Linda Penney-Ventura: who checked in the competitors, gave out armbands and confirmed jump heights with the competitors

Nancy Strane: who stewarded in the ring for the first time.  Nancy is also in the process of joining our club!

Kathy Bugli: who stayed all day to steward in both obedience and Rally
