Soon after he joined The Veterinary Referral Centre and Cardiopet in Little Falls NJ. In 2002 he established the cardiology department at the Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus NJ where he currently practices. Dr. Schrope will be performing auscultations and echocardiograms for OFA certification. Neither test generally requires sedation or shaving although there are occasional exceptions. The results will be recorded on a standard OFA form which the owner will be given a copy of and the results discussed. The echocardiogram report will not extend beyond the OFA form and images of the echocardiogram will not be available to the owner. Chiropractor:
Dr. Jacoba Nassar received her DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree upon graduation from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada, & became an associate veterinarian in private practice in Pittsburgh, PA. While here, exposure to a holistic approach of medicine caught her interest, & she decided to pursue advanced veterinary chiropractic training to enhance her approach of optimal medicine and comprehensive quality of care. She received her VSMT (Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy, also known as chiropractic) certification from the Healing Oasis Wellness Center; the only nationally accredited chiropractic school in the country. This is an intense 226 hour post-graduate education certification program with an emphasis on functional and integrative neurology in both canine and equine patients. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Connecticut to be closer to extended family, and has been established as a long term associate at a full service private practice, where she practices both conventional medicine, as well as chiropractic/applied neuroanatomy techniques. By integrating chiropractic techniques with traditional care. she has demonstrated & appreciated significant improvement in success rates of treatments and overall well-being of her patients.
